On March 10-12, Illinois Tech Robotics competed in the 24th Annual AMD Jerry Sanders Creative Design Competition (JSDC) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. After a thrilling final round, our robot Roslund won first place for the second year in a row. We also continued our tradition of creative excellence, with our robot Colonel winning the 'Most Creative Design' award. Our other two robot entries, Fenrir and Penguin, each added excitement to the competition and impressed the crowds. Photos from the event can be found in our photo gallery.

Directions to the Robotics Lab

1. Enter through the revolving door at 3424 S State. After hours, when the revolving door is locked, enter the door on the left with your student id.
2. Turn left at the security desk, then turn right at the intersection and go to the end of the hall.
3. Turn left, and the entrance to the robotics lab is at the end of the hall on the right, through the blast doors.

The lab is open weekdays from 6–10 pm.
General meetings are Fridays at 6:30 pm, project-specific meeting times can be found on our calendar.
